WasteLess™ is a smart-technology system aimed at helping users track and reduce their food wastage in a domestic setting, whilst also acting as a resource for helpful sustainable tips around the house and access to exclusive offers with our eco-friendly partners. Our product consists of two digital communicating components. Firstly, an IoT smart scale which can be inserted into a domestic waste bin - capable of measuring the user’s food waste (weighed in KGs) and transmitting the data over the internet. The second component is a mobile application which allows users to track their wastage history, view sustainable tips, access exclusive offers and many more things.
In this project, I worked as a UX Researcher. My role is not limited to conduct user research, analyse the summary findings, and work collaboratively with the team to find best possible for the targeted user experience.
